Revisiting onboarding for @RiveoApp. Still WIP but I'm liking the direction. All happening procedurally in the shader. The curl transition has also gotten less reactive but looks and feels better, imo.
New onboarding extravaganza for riveo.app. The glitches are runtime #shaders, synced with haptics. The transitions are interactive variants of those that come with the app. Wanted it over the top, whimsical, less boring. #UI#UX#glitch#motiondesign#procedural
Alright, final version (of this iteration) for onboarding @RiveoApp. Less heart attack on the background, the lens now acts as a window into the effects, some parallax on the text, some bloom to bring it all together.

So here's something we haven't used on @hqtrivia. It's a dynamic prize animation. It's actually in the app, so we may still see it... The vortex background was surprisingly the toughest part to get right.
The tricky part of coding animations for mobile is making them reactive. The extra life animation was the first more involved animation I made for @hqtrivia.
It's throwback week here (month?). This is the gift drop I made for @hqtrivia. It's an actual 3D box (made from CALayers). Randomly tilts when the user taps to pry it open. So much nicer than anything pre-rendered.
Working on a new AE/iOS thing and spent way too much time on the letter animations. Mapped delay, duration etc. to various curves. Subtle but makes for a better look. #wip
